Healing and Learning Circles

Healing and learning circles are a form of restorative justice. These circles are designed to provide a supportive space for individuals of all identities to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives on race, power, systems of oppression, privilege, and allyship. Through guided discussions, experiential and mindfulness practices, and honest dialogue and reflection, we will explore somatically and experientially the ways in which systems of power and privilege as well as systems of marginalization and oppression live and operate within us as well between us.

The intention of these circles is to create a safe, exploratory container that allows for the deeper learning, inner growth, and transformative healing that can come from the dismantling of the systems of power and privilege, racism, and colonization that reside within all of us and impact us all. These circles are about healing within community and through the collective rather than individually or academically.

Healing and learning spaces are offered to both BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) communities and white bodied communities and are separated into affinity groups. Current healing circle offerings include:

• BIPOC therapist healing circles
• White-bodied therapist healing circles
• BIPOC healing circles
• White-bodied healing circles
